Similar to US BTST prediction posted yesterday about first dominant movement in stock markets after markets open on next working day- we make a similar prediction for indian stock markets
sensex and nifty at about 1pm up about 41 and 7 points
BTST prediction: when the market closes today should you take long or short position for profits first thing in morning? First dominant movement especially in sensex on august 12 will be UP while nifty may be negative or movement less certain.Also stock like infosys,RIL etc show profits if long position is created at todays closing values
PS: we are talking of dominant first move- up or down.:"Dominant first move" may never happen in extreme ,rare cases and it may not happen for long time after market opens being confined to a narrow range for hours before a first big move.since whether number is attached or not, another possibility is that key indicies dominant first move may be in opposite direction-less frequent but happens

Commodity and Bullion Gold price Prediction for August 20
1. Crude Oil ( MCX): After initial rise possibly peaking in after noon oil futures likely to gie up gains ( 10 am -5 pm). Buy futures in morning and short in afternoon or on initial good rise. ( oil reflects both price and dollar fluctuations)
2. Gold: Buy gold futures in morning ( MCX) which may peak in afternoon. Gold spot prices are indicated to fall in afternoon ( 10 am -5 pm) (gold futures on MCX and NCDEX reflect both gold post price and currency fluctuations hence futures may differ from spot prices quoted on kitco.com in $ terms )
3. Potato: short potato futures ( NCDEX) as it is expected to fall except for a short rise in afternoon when it canbe shorted again.
4. Turmeric: short turmeric futures if it opens with good gains in morning (NCDEX). exit shorts by afternoon( there is more risk in this predction today)
